Many of you by now have seen, or at least heard of, Ghost Hunters on the Sci-fi channel. It follows a group of paranormal investigators called TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) that investigates sites to disprove hauntings. Usually they leave an investigation disproving the "haunting", but occasionally they come across serious evidence that they can't disprove or provide an explanation for.
The following video clip is not from directly from TAPS, but a similar group of investigators from out West. Apparently the owners of the house pictured at this site had been seeing shadows and hearing voices for quite a while. They did some research and found that a lady once lived in the house who lost her husband during the civil war. Legend says that she used to sit at the table and look across the fields in anticipation of her loved one returning home. He never came. So, they say she still waits. They caught this video of what they claim to be her.
This is wild and a little spooky. There is about 60 seconds of video of a well lit room (even more amazing this was during the day). What the cameras picked up may scare you or amaze you. If you listen close (turn up your computers sounds) and pay attention to the screen I think you may be able to pick up on the sound of what may only be referred to as a ghost and an image that seems to come out of no where. It's faint, but the low murmur you hear was what got the investigator's attention first.
The only thing I don't like about this is that they could have edited it better. Although the sound (while quiet) can be heard early, the image doesn't appear for about 40 seconds in.
So is this video a real ghost - proof of life after death, or just a scary illusion? You tell me.
